What payment methods do you accept?

Payment is collected after your service is complete. For large or multi-day jobs, a deposit may be required at the start. We accept credit cards, Afterpay, checks, and cash.

How often should I have my vehicle detailed?

Most vehicles benefit from professional detailing 2–4 times per year, depending on driving habits, environment, and desired finish quality. Regular maintenance helps preserve your investment and extend protection from coatings or sealants.

How do I know if my vehicle needs studio or mobile service?

We can help determine that during booking. Most standard interior and exterior details can be completed on-site, but more complex jobs — like deep interior restorations or multi-day paint protection work — are performed in our studio for precision and consistency.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can book online or contact us directly by call or text at 423-693-5949. We’ll confirm your details, location, and recommend whether mobile or studio service is the best fit.

Do I need to prepare anything before the appointment?

Just remove any personal items from your vehicle and make sure we have access to it. Whether it’s mobile or studio service, we provide everything needed for the job.

How long does detailing take?

Most mobile details take about 2–5 hours, depending on the package and condition. Studio services, such as ceramic coatings or full restorations, can take one to several days for proper curing, drying, and inspection.

What happens if it rains on my scheduled day?

If rain or poor weather is expected, we’ll contact you to review options:

  • Reschedule at no charge

  • Move the appointment to our studio (if applicable)

  • Complete interior-only work if covered space is available
    Weather-related reschedules are always free.

Can I customize my detail?

Yes. Every service can be tailored to your needs. Whether you’re addressing stains, odors, or paint defects, we’ll create a service plan that fits your vehicle and budget.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — Dextra Detailing is fully licensed and insured for both mobile and studio operations. Your vehicle is always handled professionally and with complete coverage.
